These look like permission errors. Try doing:

chown <your_user>.<your_user> /dev/sg0
chown <your_user>.<your_user> /dev/sg1

then try it again. Looks like Nautilus should be taught to use consolehelper when it needs to.

I added a few comments into this bug myself. They are the ones related to no good burning since rh7.3 and the mysteriously changing symlinks and /etc/fstab entries.


I think that magicdev ought to be made to suspend it's actions when a call is made to any sgx device. I think it is a handy feature though I don't know why it is useful for it to check every few seconds for a loaded cdrom. It makes sense for a command from the insertion of the cd into the reader, writer or dvd should cue magicdev to open up a nautilus window.
