So if so many people won't run .0 releases on their machines, what were
their plans yesterday when they still thought the post-phoebe release
would be 8.1? And did those plans just all of a sudden change over
something as trivial as change in expected version number?

Guess what!?! It's the same Red Hat Linux everyone was expecting; the
only thing different is the official version number!

Meanwhile, most of my servers still run 7.3, but that is for other
reasons... Just had to chime in with my two largely useless pennies...
