I am interested in finding out more about a Starr phonograph. The serial
number is 81952 and has the writing "silver grain spruce singing throat of
Starr phonograph". Has anyone heard of this model and know about its age,
value etc?

Thanks in advance.........

I just received a copy of George & Tim's latest book, Phonographica,
today. All I can say is that they've done it again! If you like rare
phonograph paper, you'll want this book. Even better are the original
photographs, depicting everyday life with early phonos. The photos
nearly put you back "in the day."

I heartily recommend it!
