Hi Mike,

Out our way (South Central Pennsylvania - Northern Maryland) an Amberola 30
like that would probably sell at most local auction houses for around $200
to $225 normally assuming it is working well and has a usable diamond.

If it has a brass reproducer that is decent it might go a bit higher. I can
usually pick them up in that range just about every time and half of the
time they are missing one or the other grille (which are fairly easy to
find) and often come with a dozen or so records. Restored and in tip-top
condition with original parts I can sell them for over $650 out of my shop.
Too bad you don't have a picture of the corner damage but my experience with
minor repairs like that is that they have been fairly easy to take care of
leaving only a hint of the repair.

Subject: [Phono-L] Amberola 30 Value

Someone local has an Amberola 30 for sale. The serial number is
SM93823. The screen is missing, and there's some laminate damage on the
front right corner.

Any thoughts to a value? It's apparently working.

Tks,
Mike
