thanks for all the interesting responses. my aim in asking was to help me decide whether to pursue a C-2, or maybe just the reproducer for one, in order to have a more-authentic experience with late DDs. guess i need to wait til i can hear one for myself sometime, because it seems like they sound interesting but perhaps not to the point where it becomes compelling.
i already have the means of playing them on a modern TT, which is interesting at best. i prefer my waltripified edisonic overall. thanks again!
