For Shame ! How absolutely hideous !! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vinyl Visions" <vinyl.visi...@live.com> To: phono-l@oldcrank.org Sent: Wednesday, August 22, 2012 7:05:12 PM Subject: Re: [Phono-L] TV Show "Abandoned" Edison Amerola 5?
If that is the best image that National Geographic can create, they need to fire their graphics person... I am not an expert PhotoShop user, but I can do better than this by a long shot. George is right, it is a Standard A image that has been flipped and squinched into an Amberola case... they didn't even bother to edit out the original Amberola horn/arm from behind and below. I particularly like the nice touch of adding an external horn in an internal horn machine, or maybe this was one of those "rare" phono finds on eBay.
