Hi All, I just spotted this interesting take on the rotary cactus/thorn needle sharpener. It's from the Yahoo Auctions section in Japan:

I don't speak Japanese so I have to rely on a google browser plug-in translation, which is probably terrible. It may be a little overkil, but I just like its presentation.
