Not enough information was provided for us to be able to handle this bug. Please re-read the instructions at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php If you can provide more information, feel free to add it to this bug and change the status back to "Open". Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-12-28 08:44:50] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Well, as an "experienced UNIX admin" please provide us with some real data to go on then. PHP 4.3 works perfectly with my httpd-ssl setup here. You have yet to even mention your Apache version and whether you are seeing anything weird in your error log file. You could also run your httpd-ssl in -X mode and attach gdb to it and let us know what it is doing and whether it even hits the PHP code at all. There are hundreds of things an experienced UNIX admin could do at this point instead of sending us a "It don't work" bug report. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-12-28 08:35:02] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm 99% sure this is a bug with the new php. 4.2.3 works just fine with the same configuration. our server is running for a while with no problems. We are all experienced unix administrators. This is something wrong with the php 4.3. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-12-28 08:03:12] [EMAIL PROTECTED] what can cause the page to just show <html><body></body></html> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-12-28 07:45:17] [EMAIL PROTECTED] I probably needed to be more informative in my posts. Never the less, I've done all that allready and posted the bug report after. a view source shows <html><body></body></html> error logs shows nothing. if I set in php.ini error_reporting E_ALL and display_errors = on, still nothing shows. Please let me know if I can give you any other info. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-12-28 07:40:18] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Well, then please do a little bit more homework here and figure out what is happening when you are getting the "blank page". There are no such things as blank pages. Do a view source and see what is actually being sent. Have a look at your Apache error_log (make sure you are looking at the right one) and see if there are any errors there. Tell us the version of Apache you are using. These, "It don't work!" bug reports just wastes our time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
