All, The discussions have been running quite heated on this and engine2 lists, and I certainly did my share. I would like to apologize if any of my comments have hurt your feelings or made you think that I don't care about this language, its users, and developers. I've been having some issues in my personal and professional life, and a lot has been on my mind, so this may have affected my behavior on the lists, undeservedly so. My goal from the beginning has been to extend, improve, and advance PHP, but I understand that sometimes you can't fit a square peg into a round hole. Perhaps it would help if I took a couple of months off to reevaluate my current situation and future goals while the current issues get worked out.
