You are probably right. I typed in the same code into a new file and it started to work. Just for the record, I copied and pasted this code from Opera in Windows. Anyone had similar problems?
Yes. There are sometimes hidden characters in code that you cut and paste like that. It will cause the parse error, but you don't actually see anything there. Retyping the code, the exact same way, then fixes it.
