[snip] ...stuff... [/snip] I think we can all agree that PHP and ASP can do the same things, so the one glaring difference is COST. An efficient Apache / PHP server can be set up for much less than an IIS / ASP server, even if you take the same 'box' to do it with. Given the same 'box' you will find the Apache / PHP server to be much more efficient.
