*groan*
<?php
$filename = "results.txt";
$fp = fopen($filename, "r") or die ("Couldn't open $filename");
if ($fp)
{
while (!feof($fp))
{
$thedata = fgets($fp);
//Do something to remove the "1. "
$findme=" ";
$pos=strpos($thedata,$findme);
$thedata_fixed=trim(substr($thedata,$findme));
//print the modified line and \n
echo $thedata_fixed."\n";
}
fclose($fp);
}
?>
See, no regex needed and no matter the size of the '######. ' it will always
find the first " " and then chop it from there to the end, then you trim it up
and you get the text.
