I was thinking more along the lines of this:
echo "<img src=\"$url\" alt=\"$alt\" title=\"$alt\" class=\"$imgclass
\"/>";
which looks like this otherwise:
<img src="<?php echo($url);?>" alt="<?php echo($alt);?>" title="<?php
echo($alt);?>" class="<?php echo($imgclass);?>"/>
