1 - Exit NetBeans 2 - Unzip the file in your ~/.netbeans/ folder. 3 - Start NetBeans 4 - Select the new color profile from Tools -> Options -> Fonts and Colors -> Profile dropdown I would suggest upgrading to the latest NetBeans as well, it's worth it.
