you might want to test with a hotmail account as the return email address and find out if they are bouncing your email. I had this problem once, and in the return email it told me that I had miss formed headers. I got an error 550 from the mail server. you might try setting in the headers of you mail that you are sending, a) the content type, b) bit number 8bit, 7 bit, etc... that solved the problem for me.
