For the first problem, make sure you are generating events into the database
-- many of the things will fail without valid data :-)
try using the dbgen.pl script to gen some fake events.
For the TTF issue, I would advice you read the help files I mentioned
earlier :-)
(hint: you need to install ttf's to your system)

I was looking over the general php.ini, not the one under the
/etc/php5/apache2 directory... what a shame of mine ;)
Now theres some minor issues, the SEARCH button gives me the following
error :
Notice: Undefined variable: result_array in
/local/syslog/html/includes/regularresult.php on line 390 No results found.
I didnt marked any of the include/exclude host, facilities, etc
Although, the TAIL button will give me the results correctly. but not the
SEARCH one
Also the graphing has a problem, but I think its related to that TTF font
I still havent installed
