FAQ is quite international. Most of the translators left it. We have
a good wording for FAQ (GYIK), but maybe other languages have no.
PEAR is the name of that thing, so it should not be translated IMHO.
Most of the translators done the job of translating, with droping out
the "the" word from the PEAR entity. I have done the same.
It was not clear that you are thinking about this, as this was in your
letter:

I tried to understand this paragraph in connection with the DE language
entities file. But nothing helped me to understand. These two new entities
are not there for "quite many years"... Why are those guys are crazy?

put that 4.0.6 there...
