Oh my god, you can not get a book through a phone line. This is
physically impossible. You and I have to pay for that book. If you get
books for free, O'Reilly wouldn't exist anymore.

This is another very different case here. Every puplisher can translate
books from another publisher. The translating puplisher have to pay the
original publisher a fee to have the rights to translate. Next to this
steps the translating publisher would have is to find some translators
and technical reviewers. If this book is ever published, the original
author of that book will see some income. A book and a manual are
different things. I have been involved in some translated books and I
know what it means. Next month you can read the book from Sterling with
contributions from Andrei in German :)
