This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-02-23 21:46:21] [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is not really a bug, it's just an easily implementable suggestion which would improve the PHP-online documentation: Currently, the title which appears in the webbrowser's titlebar is something like this: "PHP: Manual: function" In a crowded toolbar, this will be truncated, so you don't know what function is displayed in the window. I suggest that this is changed to: "function - PHP - Manual" (or something similar like "function: PHP: Manual") This way, you see the function name in the operating system's toolbar, even if it's truncated. Thank you P.S.: The PHP online-documentation is the best online-documentation I've ever seen for a language and it's this documentation which lets me prefer PHP over Perl. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-02-23 21:40:27] [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is not really a bug, it's just an easily implementable suggestion which would make the PHP-online documentation a bit better: Currently, the title which appears in the webbrowser's titlebar is something like this: "PHP: Manual: function" In a crowded toolbar, this will be truncated, so you don't know what function is displayed in the window.
