Greetings Khaled and others, It's great to see a desire to translate the manual into Arabic. The Persian team (Pedram) did spent some time getting RTL languages working but I'm afraid it's not yet perfect. Maybe you can guys can also help with that. Also, I'm CCing doc-ar@ as maybe some lurkers there are interested. Contributing begins with patches, which eventually turns into SVN access. In other words, you should check out the php documentation sources, fix things, then submit fixes as patches. Once people realize that you're a sane person who truly does want to contribute, then you'll gain commit access. The following will be a good start: - http://wiki.php.net/doc/howto Also, if you're into testing newish things that may or may not work, then try out (it'll setup the doc environment): - http://svn.php.net/viewvc/phpdoc/doc-base/trunk/scripts/create-phpdoc-setup.php?view=co There isn't a one page HOWTO nor PDF. Also, please feel free to ask questions, and talk to you guys soon! :) Regards, Philip
