Well, I knew that, which is why I said "at the time correct repository".
In that case we're aiming for the same.

Well, since it's so easy to setup, I see no harm in creating 7.9 for
anyone dying to commit to 7.9 already.
I personally am committed to fixing whatever still needs fixing in
7.8 first, no need to commit to 7.9 (I'll be doing that in my private
(git)branches for the time being, if need be).
