I want to start a discussion related to bitbucket issue #820. There is an issue with archiving mailing list emails and the access to the archived mails. If someone is liable by law to archive the complete mail-traffic for compliance reasons, every mail has be archived - also mails from or to a mailing list. Sense or non-sense for mailing lists. For some mailing lists (in my case the linux kernel mailing list) there is no access to the archived mails because the receiving address is not part of the relevant header values. I am interested in how you are thinking about this issue. BR Uwe
