Thank you for all your replies. Denise, I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling very well. We miss you on the boards! I always think of you when I see Cinder! How is she? I hope you guys survived your severe winter! I don't know how you live in the cold...I freeze when it's below 70!:-P I am glad you let us know that you're still around, I will be praying that you start feeling better, soon. Take care of yourself!

Marty, thank you for your reply. I plan on taking it easy and slowly resuming a normal life. I am really looking forward to it, though! I know exactly what you mean, in the past two years, I found my true priorities. I used to only care about how fast I could get my doctorate (my goal was this year!-originally, it was 2002) and how far I could go in my law enforcement career. Now, God, my family, and friends top my priority list. I have spent more time with them in the past two years than I have in the previous ten. It has been wonderful to become close to my family. I have also placed God and becoming a better christian as a priority in my life. I truly believe that God has a reason for everything and my illness has brought me closer to everyone I love. I feel very blessed.

Hi Gary, I need to write you soon. It was scary when I got sick last Saturday, but I have felt that way before on more than one occassion, so I knew I just needed rest. I did not go see my PCP, I probably will if it happens again. I have these spells 3-4 times a year, they are usually brought on by physical or emotional stress. I believe that my cortisol goes too low, so my body cannot handle any stress. Every doc I have seen argues that it has nothing to do with the tumor or my imbalanced hormones, but I believe it does. Anyways...I'll go next time, I promise!

Hi Mikki, I will continue praying for your full recoevery. I hope we can meet one day, soon.

Hi Minnie! Thank you for the wonderful job you do with the boards. I know if you were not manager, the boards would go ka-put! You are so generous with your time and help and support for all the members and pit tumor patients, thank you soooo much!!

I hope all my symptoms go away after surgery, too! Thank you for the "Congrats" on my new lil niece, she is so precious! Oh, I know how excited the Texas "Grobanites" are cuz he's coming there! Josh is awesome! He's sick right now, though...keep him and his voice in your prayers! He's been over-doing it! I'll let you know how my consult goes when I return home. I am hoping it goes well.

Jean, I plan on seeing my PCP (thanx for reminding me, I need to set up an appointment with her) after I see my neurosurgeon and neuroendo. I will let her know what happened then. She will probably say it was low blood sugar, severe migraine, or an electrolyte imbalance, that's what she always says:-P.

Well, I hope to hear more about how everyone is doing. Sorry I missed the chat last night. Mondays are just not good for me. I'll catch you all later.

Take care. You are all in my prayers.

Meri
