I've had the insulin resistance test and there was no problem.I have no hair growth, no cysts i just have the no period & mid section weight gain. so like most docs they put me on meds hoping the period would come(metformin & a different type b/c pill) neither has worked the only thing metformin has done is help lose the weight. I've been of b/c pill for 23days in hopes to get better test results when i go to endo next month & ob-gyn next week. The docs say b/c pill could be masking some symptoms. coming off the b/c pill i think has caused some ovarian cysts. symptoms-painful intercourse and after for about 5 days now from pubic bone up to top of belly. went to docs on monday for tests waiting for results. thanks i dont think anyone else would understand this stuff or even listen. have a great day ![]() |
