Hi DJS, Sorry you are going through all this. I agree that you probably need to see a different doctor. My question to you is this, why are you on metformin? I have recently been put on metformin due to insulin resistance. It was explained to me that my pituitary is not sending the pancreas the right signals so it produces too much insulin. The metformin is to stop so much production of insulin. You didn't mention any problems with diabetes or insulin levels being high so why the meds? Just curious. Regards, Diane |
