Well that pretty much eliminates the guys and most of the younguns on this board.

I had surgery for a Prolactoma in 1983.  I feel that I can trace this tumor back to when I was 4.  After surgery the Prolactin hormone did not return to below 17, but hovers around 41.

Now in 2006, just before I'm turning 52, I was tested and I am in Menopause.  I have urine in my blood, but the results of a pap test were normal.  I don't have any pain, except in my feet which I would assume has nothing to do with it.

But this year my vision kept changing and finally I gave up driving....really find out who your friends are.  Let's just say I am fortunate to have so many good friends.  At first I thought Menopause, Pit tumor, ahhhhhhhhhh.  But nope, I have a full blown cataract in one eye and some other condition that has not been determined and the other eye changed significantly.  I have been near-side since 11, puberty.  I had visual problems just before I was diagnosed in '83.  But my Prolactin level is currently 41, down from 60 that it was 1.5 yrs ago.
So I would really like to hear from any women that is or has gone through Menopause and how they were effected/or not effected by a Prolactoma and/or Hypothyroidism.

When one never had children and did not have menses for many years......where do her eggs go.  I mean could they be leaving the body during Menopause?
