You might want to reconsider the steroidal nasal spay. My endo would not have
me taking any of it and in fact suggested that my 8 year old son not take it as
well due to the Pituitary being so close to the nose. The steroids end up being
absorbed right there. She said in her practice she would see more people with
high Cortisol levels for three months then not who used the steroid nasal
sprays!!!! She hates them for pit patients!

Tina

Hello and Happy New Year! I have a question for everyone. I have been on
Dostinex for almost 6 years and always felt fine. (first question,, is
cabergoline the same as dostinex?0.5mg x 2days a week). But since june I have
been feeling like i had an allergie attack, puffy eyes, sneezing etc. I thought
it was the pollen, but now that it is winter it is even
worse.I have tried everything, no face creams, no parfums, no new things, no
carpets etc, new pillows etc (you name it I tried) and took allergies medecines
etc. The worse is the puffiness under the eyes. And since 2 weeks ago even red.
I look tired and awful! I have itchy nose, not that much sneezing. I saw my doc
that prescribed flonase and other things. Nothing works. i am going to see my
endo in a couple of weeks. Today I researched cabergoline and "flu like
symptoms, fluid around the eye, inflammation of the nose..." That sounds pretty
much like my "allergies"!!! I will do my own testing and stop cabergoline for a
while.

Does anyone else have the same side effects? ?
