I posted last week all the horrible side effects I also have with cabergoline. And many people have the same problems or worse. One of the side effects is the valve problems. I think you are right in worrying about it. I also see my endo every 6 months, but I have decided to stop the cabergoline until I feel better and I will ask to see my endo in 3 months to check my blood and see how I am doing. I was on Dostinex for 5 years without any problems, it all started with the generic cabergoline. So see if you can find out about Dostinex. If I have no other options than going back to cabergoline, I will suggest a lower dosage. A pharmacist explained to me that even though the generics have the same drug dosage as the originals, it can be prepared differently and absorbed or dissolve faster. So the result is a higher dosage of absorption so that could be the problem. I think we patients have to be more active in our health care because we are the ones who know how we feel. I listen to my body and I think we should not be scared to tell the docs what we want. Even if they disagree..
