The Demo will show Preferences as a simple TODO List (time stamp and text for
any todo item).
If possible the user can choose what backend to use (File System or Web Start
Persistence) and will be handled in a transparent way , so depending on the
execution type (Applet signed or not, Standalone Application signed or not, or
Web Start) users can try different ways to save/load preferences.
