Hi, I'm not an expert in this, but with cajo all types of NAT / port forwarding, etc are already supported ... and also tunneling via HTTP (if none of others are available in your environment).
Then, there is a standard port, assigned to it many time ago !! IANA TCP port 1198, IANA UDP address 224.0.23.162 > Is there any reason why I shouldn't use this for a CRUD/Data-centric app (in > a medium size business with a single LAN environment to be specific, like a > Payroll system)? In a small / medium environment i think this is a great (and simpler) way to work ... But with cajo it's also possible to do other things like failover messaging (also using RMI via broadcast), like in a peer-to-peer environment but in this case i think a better sample is a grid environment, and without using proprietary and complex tools, so have a good work. Tell me if you make something real ... Bye, sandro
