  uuid cannot be an image-wide attribute.  It must be a per-authority
  attribute.  (That is, it's different.)  I also don't think "pick your
  own UUID" makes any sense.  I'd rather see

  pkg set-authority --reset-uuid authority
  pkg set-authority --unset-uuid authority

  to have a UUID generated or removed.
