  zfs set is already showing the deficits of a flat namespace.  We have
  two slightly different configurable object types:  the image and each
  authority in that image.  (So, I suppose the correct ZFS analogy is to
  note that there is zpool(1M) and zfs(1M), and they both have set
  subcommands...
