Hi, there: I'm going to present a demo of OpenSolaris's package manager to university audience. But I found that its performance is really bad, especially when compared with other package managing tools on Linux. Although I set up a local repository on the localhost, it still takes long time to load the repository information and to install/upgrade packages. I feel the response time is not acceptable for a public demo. I'm wondering if there are some tuning tips that may help to improve the performance?
