Hi,
What happens when one installs an IPS package in the global zone of a
box that has local zones too?
I understand that the installation behaviors are controlled via the
packaging parameters in SVR4 version (SUNW_PKG_THISZONE, SUNW_PKG_ALLZONE,
etc). But, I don't exactly know the behavior of package installation in IPS.
By default, will the package be installed only in Global zones? Or will it
be pushed to local zones as well?
I'm not able to test the behavior as I'm facing issues while creating local
zones in my OpenSolaris box, hence this question.
Can you kindly throw some light here?
