I'm glad John's going to be doing that. Given that, I'm not sure why
the refactoring of the data (in this way) is needed.
Ugh, please no. We don't need preference dialogs cluttered with
options that most people won't care about. Hide it in GConf if you
will, but please don't put it in a dialog [1]
