Yes, but the new information is completely optional and should not
impact the operation of the client in any visible way.
*After* the 2009.06 release, I'll be working on upgrading the client's
cfg_cache file format to something that is more expressive and resistant
to this sort of change. The new format will be completely incompatible
with older clients, although the newer client will still be able to read
the older format.
