Hello,

I have a question about packages on OpenSolaris.

that's two questions, actually :-).

If a package has been integrated into nevada, is that package
automatically included in the next OpenSolaris release?

Provided it is legally redistributable, yes.

And if it is a
package that is installed on nevada by default, will it also be
installed on OpenSolaris by default?

There is no "default" install for Nevada; you can pick from several
"metaclusters", one of which is everything ("all + oem").

CD install on OpenSolaris installs a working desktop; it's limited by
the space on the CD. Nevada no longer distributes a CD image.
