In that case, how/what process do I follow to make sure that (in this
case a driver) is part of the initial install on OpenSolaris as well as
on Nevada? I have looked through the OpenSolaris pages and can't find
it - if someone can point me to it, I'll follow it up.
Thanks again.

I have a question about packages on OpenSolaris.
If a package has been integrated into nevada, is that package
automatically included in the next OpenSolaris release?
Generally, yes. There are specific cases where the package contains
encumbered objects that must be delivered via the Extra Software
Consolidation, and possibly not at all.
And if it is a package that is installed on nevada by default, will it
also be installed on OpenSolaris by default?
Generally, no. The initial install for an OpenSolaris release from
the LiveCD is smaller than that of SXCE.
