Hi all,
I'm looking for a review of the fix for bug #10029:
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=10029
Integrate NetBeans 6.7 as an unbundled package
Webrev is at:
http://cr.opensolaris.org/~richb/pkg-10029-v1/
Local (internal) repository at:
http://stard.sfbay.sun.com:30029
Because of the way that the various IPS NetBeans packages are constructed,
then installing and/or updating the NetBeans packages for v6.7 will have
to be down in the following ways:
* If NetBeans v6.5.1 is NOT previously installed, then the user will be
able to do:
$ pfexec pkg install netbeans
from the command line, (or select and install NetBeans from the GUI
package manager).
* If NetBeans v6.5.1 is previously installed, then the user will have to
do:
$ pfexec pkg install netbeans-incorporation
Will the 6.7 to 6.next update also have two separate invocation paths
for installed/not installed?
Thanks
Stephen

I'm having trouble seeing the code review at the moment (cr.o.o seems
down/slow), but I was wondering why we wouldn't make the [email protected]
package depend on the [email protected] package? I would think
that would solve this problem? Or does it put us in a bad place because
we don't have the sat solver in yet?
Just thought I'd ask since I can't take a look at the actual webrev at
the moment.
Brock
