Because of the way that the various IPS NetBeans packages are constructed,
then installing and/or updating the NetBeans packages for v6.7 will have
to be down in the following ways:
* If NetBeans v6.5.1 is NOT previously installed, then the user will be
able to do:
$ pfexec pkg install netbeans
from the command line, (or select and install NetBeans from the GUI
package manager).
* If NetBeans v6.5.1 is previously installed, then the user will have to
do:
$ pfexec pkg install netbeans-incorporation
Will the 6.7 to 6.next update also have two separate invocation paths
for installed/not installed?
It'll depend upon whether the NetBean's folks introduce any more new
packages
in their next version, and/or whether the new SAT solver is ready by
then. The
latter will hopefully solve issues like this.
