Because when it is needed it is very helpful and saves a lot of time.
One would argue that most sysadmin do not use link aggregation but it
doesn't mean it shouldn't be implemented.
Fair! However, I think it is insufficient. No one has yet presented a
case where broken dependencies are solved by a force/no-dep option to
justify it.
