If you're willing to try this...
In the /usr/lib/brand/ipkg directory, change the following:
* attach:387:LC_ALL=C $PKG list --no-refresh -a $gz_entire_fmri >
/dev/null 2>&1
-- replace '-a' with '-af'
If that works, then a bug needs to be filed.
