Folks,
Last week, Shawn pointed out that we could probably replace our current
transport lock wrapper with a lock decorator. I had looked at this in
the past, but hadn't puzzled it all out. After talking with Shawn, I
took another stab at it, and was able to remove ~200 lines of redundant
code from the transport.
