I took a look at this, and it seems right to me.
The only thing I'd wonder, is whether the creation of a backup-be
deserves a history entry (though the consensus seems to be that adding
more to history at this stage isn't good).
That is, given any individual history entry, it could be hard to
determine exactly where our backup was created. Does libbe have any way
of setting BE properties that we could use to indicate that a given BE
was a backup BE?
