so above gives me:
pkg update: No matching version of office/openoffice can be installed:
Reject:
pkg://opensolaris.org/office/[email protected],5.11-0.111:20100707T003225Z
Reason: All acceptable versions of 'require' dependency on
pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.111 are obsolete
so this is the only package I have now left installed from
opensoalris.org, I was intending to add the internal-only and as
opensolaris.org was non-sticky I assumed it would upgrade my to latest
openoffice 3.3 from internal-only, but apparently not.
Once I remove openoffice suite delivered via opensolaris.org this works
fine again. I can pkg update no problem, seen this on my other desktop
as well, exact same error re SUNWddu package. So this happens on two
desktops with openoffice installed from opensolaris.org.
So now that I have no packages listed as installed from opensoalris.org
can I safely remove that poublisher going forward?
Also when browse internal-only repo with b172 packagemanager I see two
packages called openoffice, is that some kind of error in the repo
itself? One has no files and is listed as uninstalled but cannot be
installed?

Many thanks for resolving this for me, there was no way I'd have deduced
the problem from the error message, the message appears unrelated
totally to the resolution, ie removing openoffice from opsolaris.org repo.
Enda
