Hi,
Recently, I met one issue that 'pkg uninstall mypkg' hang there.
How can I debug and identify whether anything wrong in the package side, or in
IPS system side? And How can I resolve this issue?
Here is the command I ran on my LDom Sparc machine installed with Solaris 11 GA:
root@ldom2:~# time pkg uninstall mypkg
Packages to remove: 1
Create boot environment: No
Create backup boot environment: No
Services to change: 1
PHASE ACTIONS
Removal Phase 1/85
^CThe Boot Environment solaris failed to be updated. A snapshot was taken
before the failed attempt and is mounted here /tmp/tmp5DCgKW. Use 'beadm
unmount solaris-5' and then 'beadm activate solaris-5' if you wish to boot to
this BE.
