I could not upgrade to S11 FCS on Ultra40 sparc machine. UltraSPARC-IIIi is no more supported. I need some workaround that will allow me to install gcc-45.

What this is saying is not that sfw-incorporation isn't able to move
forward sufficiently, but that sfw-incorporation won't allow gmp to move
forward sufficiently.

Part of the problem is probably that you're on build 151a, and gcc-45
wasn't introduced until build 173. That means that pretty much everything
it depends on will be from at least build 171 or so, depending on the
system it was built on. That includes system/library, so you'll need to
upgrade your machine at least that far to get 4.5.

If that's an impossibility (it shouldn't be; the release is a year and a
half old, and S11 is almost six months at this point, too, so you're highly
encouraged to upgrade), then you may be able to install the gcc-43 package
from the internal opensolaris dev repo mirror.
