Why and how are you overriding BASEDIR from SUNWj7rt? It is delivered
as /usr, and its postinstall script uses installf to create symlinks in
${BASEDIR}/bin.
And, as Alan correctly points out, these are not appropriate packages to
be using, and probably shouldn't even be available on the download page.
At this point, this is an academic exercise to figure out where the bug
and/or operator error exists.
