The bug was fixed in newest tarball of gphoto2 when I reported it earlier. (a few months ago). It wasn't fixed in debian unstable at that time. It was a linux LFS (large file support bug) according to the bugtracker I found and I think it was in the changelog of gphoto2 tarball too.
