No, it's a misunderstanding. You would have to opt-in for the warning message to go away. systemd-networkd expects the new naming policy to be active (because that's the upstream default). If it's not, it assumes you have disabled it via the kernel command line. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
